Yorkshire-based Springfield Healthcare Group has opened Harcourt Gardens, a £15 million luxury care home designed to provide residential, nursing, and dementia care.

Harcourt Gardens consists of 105 bedrooms. The facility includes a private chef, gin bar, private dining room, cinema, and landscaped gardens.

Springfield Healthcare has been around for over 50 years. It employs over 1,200 staff and operates over 500 beds across 6 care homes in York, Leeds, Harrogate, and Ilkley offering residential, nursing, and dementia care.

Springfield’s chief executive, Graeme Lee, said in a press release: ” We are challenging perceptions of what a care home is like, and offering a personalised, lifestyle choice for people who want to maintain their independence and way of life with a little extra support on tap. Our care pathway also means we can help them as their needs change, with specialist dementia and nursing care available too.”

Harcourt Gardens will create over 100 jobs in the Harrogate district.
