An Aspire LPP care home development site in Tenterden, Kent has been sold to care home provider Barchester Healthcare.

It follows a proactive planning process with the local council to meet the demands of the local area.

The 64-bedroom care home will benefit from en suite wet rooms to all bedrooms, café, hair salon, activity room, cinema, lounge and dining rooms, rooftop bar with summer lounge, balconies, and a screened roof garden.

Michael Lucas, founder and managing director at care developer Aspire LLP said the development represents one in a pipeline of care home developments in 2022 and beyond.

Julian Burgess, land buyer at Barchester Healthcare, said: “Barchester Healthcare are very pleased to be part of the successful planning application in Tenterden. We feel that we will be able to contribute hugely to the community with our proposed new care home.

“We also provide many new jobs as well as much needed care for the elderly.”

Specialist business property advisor, Christie & Co, advised on the deal. Jordan Rundle, director in the care development and investment team at Christie & Co, brokered the deal.
