Mental health rehabilitation provider Active Pathways has promoted Katie Pilkington to director of operations, tasked with strategic oversight of operational performance, service development and quality assurance across all settings.

Active Pathways provides Care Quality Commission-registered residential, community and inpatient services for adults with complex mental health needs, learning disability and autism, with an emphasis on recovery-focused, psychologically informed care.

Pilkington has 20 years’ health and social care experience, including specialist mental health, learning disability and autism care. She has worked at Active Pathways since 2008.

Active Pathways’ managing director Syd Coombes said: “Katie’s deep operational knowledge, commitment to quality, and continued focus on the people we support make her a vital part of our leadership team. Her appointment as director of operations strengthens our ability to deliver high-performing services as we continue to grow.”
