Healthcare technology firm Agilio Software has appointed Neil Laycock as chief executive and Andy Sloan as dental managing director.

Agilio Software provides technology in the primary care, dental, and hospital sectors, offering compliance, HR, and e-learning software solutions to more than 70,000 dental professionals in the UK and 4,400 GP practices in England.

Laycock joined Agilio in 2020 as chief operating officer, arriving with more than 15 years of experience in senior roles across the healthcare and technology sectors. His previous roles included managing director of EMIS Health and managing director of Servelec’s community, mental health, and acute business.

At Agilio, Laycock has managed and overseen the acquisition and integration of the dental software firms Code and Isopharm, Myhrtoolkit, and primary care software providers Clarity Informatics and My Locum Manager.

Sloan joins in December and has more than 15 years’ senior leadership experience across the dental industry both on the supply side as well as within corporate groups. He was previously business development director for Portman Dental Care, overseeing more than 100 practice acquisitions, and before that was director of business solutions across Europe at Henry Schein.
