Law firm Mills & Reeve has appointed Gayle Curry as a partner in its commercial healthtech practice, based in the firm’s Oxford office.
Anchor Hanover Group: Lyn Romeo
Anchor Hanover Group, a not-for-profit provider of housing and care for older people, has appointed Lyn Romeo as a non-executive director.
Romeo has more than 30 years’ experience at senior leadership level in commissioning, regulation, quality assurance, and delivering social care, health and housing services for disabled adults and older people. She was chief social worker for adults (England) for 10 years, until February this year.
Romeo said: “I am pleased to be joining Anchor’s board as I am committed to ensuring that housing and care for older people provides the environment and communities for them to have the best possible lives. I believe that older people have a right to a place to call home, with people they enjoy being with and where they feel valued and respected and able to thrive.”
Anchor’s chair Christopher Kemball commented: “Lyn brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge of adult social care. She will be an excellent addition to the board and help us to deliver our purpose of providing homes where people love living in later-life”.
