Cambridge Cognition, which provides cognitive assessment software for clinical trials, academic research and healthcare, has appointed Jonathan Kempster as an independent non-executive director.
Kempster has more than 20 years’ experience as a public company director and is currently a non-executive director of three AIM quoted companies: Norman Broadbent, an executive search and interim management firm, Synthetics which provides advanced security and surveillance systems, and Pennant International Group, a systems support and training solutions company.
Kempster qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse in 1990 and has been chief financial officer of a number of companies including FII Group, Linden Homes, Delta, and Frasers Group. He has held several non-executive roles since 2019.
Dr Steven Powell, chairman of Cambridge Cognition, said: “[Kempster’s] broad experience and deep financial expertise will be a valuable addition to the company as we continue to build and grow the business.”
