CNX Therapeutics: Claire Masterson

Claire Masterson

London-based pharmaceutical company CNX Therapeutics has appointed Claire Masterson as chief financial officer, replacing Olga Lund who is stepping down to take a career break and spend more time with her family.

Masterson is experienced in financial management, having worked in digital healthcare, venture/private equity-backed businesses, and alternative investments. She was previously chief financial officer at medical workflow automation and analytics company Caresyntax and, before that, chief financial officer and chief operating officer at Surgical Intelligence Holding.

Guy Clark, chief executive of CNX Therapeutics, said: “Olga has been an invaluable member of our leadership team, instrumental in driving our financial success and strategic expansion. As one of the founding architects of CNX Therapeutics, her financial acumen and dedication have been critical in positioning CNX for long-term growth. While we will miss her presence, we fully support her decision to prioritise family at this time and are deeply grateful for her contribution.”

Masterson commented: “I am thrilled to join CNX Therapeutics at this exciting time in the company’s journey. I look forward to working with Guy and the team to build on the strong foundation Olga has established and drive continued growth.”

CNX Therapeutics was acquired by mid-market private equity firm Inflexion Private Equity in 2021.
