PharmaHeligan Group: Ramesh Jassal
Birmingham-based strategic advisory and investment firm Heligan Group has appointed Ramesh Jassal as lead strategic partner in healthcare.
Jassal was previously a senior director at Clearwater International and spent 15 years setting up and developing its UK and international healthcare sector platform.
Jassal has more than two decades’ experience in the healthcare industry is an M&A professional and has overseen more than 50 domestic and international transactions with an aggregate value of £3.5 billion. He has worked with owner-managed businesses, corporates and private equity on a range of domestic and cross-border transactions including acquisitions, business disposals, private equity investment and the sale of non-core divisions.
Jassal began his career as a senior research scientist at a life sciences company Oxagen. He transitioned into the commercial sector, working for a private equity firm 3i Group from 2005 to 2008. In 2010 he joined Clearwater
