Marsden: Indy Purewal
Private equity-backed medical devices business Marsden has appointment of Indy Purewal as chief financial officer.
Marsden has an entrepreneurial background and has experience with acquisitions, sale processes and operating at a board level, He was previously group finance director at manufacturing group Esterform.
Marsden has a 90-plus year history in the weighing industry and has grown from a family-owned scale vendor to a design, manufacture and distribution business that has grown in recent years. Marsden took advantage of regulation changes in 2003 which opened up the medical market and has since grown its market share to around 50% in the NHS, with service contracts at 40% of trusts.
Carter Schwartz’s head of practice Lewis Buckley advised on the appointment.
