NCF elects new board members

The National Care Forum, the membership organisation for not-for-profit organisations in the care and support sector, has appointed five new board members.

The National Care Forum’s chief executive Professor Vic Rayner, said: “We are delighted to welcome Marianne Wanstall, chief  executive, The Brendoncare Foundation; Rachel Jones, director of care services, Jewish Care; Rob Martin, managing director, care services, Anchor Hanover; Sanjeet Bains, managing director; Bolton Cares and Viv De La Fuente, chief executive, Encompass Dorset to the NCF board.

“Our new board members will bring a greater breadth of knowledge and experience to the board, reflecting the wide range of services provided nationally by NCF members. In addition we were very pleased that Mette Le Jakobsen, managing director, Surrey Choices and Maxine Espley MBE, executive director of care and support, Green Square Accord were re-elected for another term on the NCF board.”

Marianne Wanstall, Rachel Jones, Rob Martin, Sanjeet Bains, and Viv De La Fuente join the existing board comprising, Andy Cole OBE (chair), Royal Star and Garter; Sarah Clarke-Kuehn (treasurer), Sanctuary Care; Dan Hayes, The Orders of St John Care Trust; Martin D’Mello, One Housing; and Oona Goldworthy, Brunelcare.

Existing board members Maxine Espley, Green Square Accord and Mette Le Jakobsen, Surrey Choices were re-elected at the AGM.
