Asset manager Octopus Capital has continued its venture in Spain with the appointment of Rodrigo Cortes as its head of client partnerships in European growth.

Cortes will report to Octopus’ head of Spain Cristina Pérez Liz and will work in Octopus Capital’s client group and real estate management committee. His role will be centred on building relationships with capital partners and clients across EMEA for all Octopus Capital’s investment strategies including senior living.

He has 19 years of experience in the financial and real estate sectors, including 13 years in the M&A and equity capital market teams at Goldman Sachs in London.
