Sovereign Capital Partners: Crispin Apold

Private equity firm Sovereign Capital Partners has appointed Crispin Apold as an investment executive in the investment team, focusing on opportunities to back businesses across Sovereign’s areas of sector focus: healthcare and pharma services, education and training, and business and technology services.
Crispin previously worked at GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group), where he was involved with several UK hedge funds across their investment process. Before that, he worked in the tech sector at Softcat, with a particular focus on the financial sector.
Dominic Dalli, managing partner at Sovereign Capital Partners said: “We’re delighted to welcome Crispin to the investment team where he will work to both identify new opportunities to back talented management teams, and support our portfolio companies to add significant scale through strategic acquisition both domestically and internationally. We look forward to sharing updates on our investment activity in the coming weeks and months.”
