London-based mid-market private equity firm Livingbridge has invested in Nourish Care Systems, a provider of digital care planning software to the UK social care sector.

Founded in 2011, Nourish is a cloud-hosted digital care planning platform supporting care providers and carers in the evidencing, and accessing of care records, and improving care provision using data insight and reporting. Nourish caters to over 300 care providers across more than 1,800 settings in the UK from its headquarters in Bournemouth.

Livingbridge has more than 20 years of social care, healthcare and software experience and stated its investment will enable Nourish to develop its platform further.

Nuno Almeida, founder and chief executive at Nourish, said: “I founded Nourish with the aspiration to deliver positive impact at scale in social care – our values are at the core of all we do, how we behave and support our clients through our products and services, how we attract new colleagues and choose our partners. Livingbridge has a very strong track record of supporting the growth of social care and technology businesses and the alignment of values between Nourish and Livingbridge is fantastic. We are very excited to have Livingbridge with us for the next stage of our journey.”

Sanjay Panchal at Livingbridge, added: “Nuno and the team have built something very special in Nourish. The next few years will see the accelerated use of technology in health and social care and Nourish is at the forefront of this. The team’s passion to improve lives sits at the heart of everything they do and is completely aligned with our approach to health and social care investing.”
