Stanley Capital healthcare SPAC to raise up to $200m

Healthcare AI Acquisition Corp (HAIA), a new special purpose acquisition company sponsored by Stanley Capital, filed today to raise up to $200 million to acquire and take public an established, but fast-growing, company in the healthcare industry based in either Europe or the US.

HAIA will have 18 months to find an investment and is overfunding the trust for investors with an additional 2%.

HAIA will focus on companies in the e-clinical, healthcare information technology or outsourced pharmaceutical and healthcare services industries that have a strong fundamental growth trajectory and that can be transformed or accelerated by the integration of AI or other automated solutions that lower the cost of delivery and improve the quality of care for patients.

Stanley Capital is a London-based private equity firm which has invested more than $3.7 billion of equity in companies in the healthcare and technology sector.
