Healthcare and life science consultancy Lexica has appointed Michèle Wheeler as director of international health and life sciences.
Simplyhealth: Claudia Nicholls
Health insurance provider Simplyhealth has appointed Claudia Nicholls as chief customer officer, effective 28 November, reporting to chief executive Professor Sneh Khemka.
In this newly created role Nicholls will be responsible for all sales and service teams and identifying ways to grow Simplyhealth’s core business of cash plans and dental plans. Jenni Wilson, group sales director, Dan Eddie, director of customer service, and their respective teams will report to Nicholls.
Nicholls has experience from a range of business sectors including retail, FMCG, publishing and fintech. Having started her career at Procter & Gamble, she also held senior commercial leadership roles at the consumer association Which? and price comparison website Moneysupermarket Group. She joins Simplyhealth from Snoop, the money management and budgeting app, where she was chief revenue officer.
Khemka said: “We strive to make healthcare accessible to all. Key to our success will be truly putting our customers at the heart of our business, understanding their needs, and building products and services to meet these. With her extensive experience gained in leading customer-centric organisations, Claudia is a perfect fit for Simplyhealth’s ambitions.”
