PharmaJeremy Richardson steps down as chief executive of Runwood Homes
Jeremy Richardson, Runwood Homes’ chief executive, has decided to leave the business after less than a year in the role, the care provider announced following a recent strategic review.
Richardson will be replaced by Gordon Sanders, who until recently had held the role of chairman. Sanders is the founder and owner of Runwood Homes and he will take over as chief executive, a role that he held prior to Richardson’s arrival.
Sanders said: “Following discussions over the past few weeks, it was clear that Jeremy and I saw the immediate priorities for the group slightly differently, and as a result Jeremy made the decision to step down as chief executive.”
Richardson commented: “I am very sorry to be leaving Runwood Homes, it’s a very strong business with an enviable record of sustained growth. I would like to take this opportunity to wish Gordon and the rest of the Runwood team all the very best for the future.”
A number of senior management changes were made too. According to Companies House data, chief financial officer Phil Thomas and chief operating officer Lorraine Mcgarry-Wall also left the company.
