Aria Care Group: Antony Brister
Aria Care Group has appointed Antony Brister as its chief financial officer.
Brister us an accountant and experienced chief financial officer, who previously held senior finance roles within the hospitality industry, working with global brands including Marriott and Hilton Hotels, before moving into the social care sector in 2018, spending four years as chief financial officer of Sunrise Senior Living and Gracewell Healthcare.
Most recently, Brister worked for Kisimul Group which provides specialised care and education to children and adults with autism and complex behaviours.
Brister said: “I’m delighted to be returning to the elderly care sector and being part of an organisation focused on providing great care to its residents in the best settings. The owners and senior leadership team at Aria have a real desire to grow and that is hugely appealing to me, whether through developing our own homes or through selective acquisitions as appropriate opportunities present themselves.
“Across the sector, and as I have already seen within Aria, there are great individuals who work so hard to provide residents with the very best care. I am really looking forward to getting out and about to see first-hand what we do and how I can support them personally in my leadership role and as part of the wider finance team.”
