Apposite-backed 1MED, an international contract research organisation (CRO) offering medical device and pharmaceutical industry regulatory support, has appointed Dr Guy Dewil as chief executive.

Dewil has life sciences and clinical trial leadership experience across multiple functions in CRO, contract development and manufacturing organisation and central lab environments. He was previously president operations Europe at Catalent. Before that, he has held several leadership positions in the life sciences industry at General Electric, BARC Central Laboratories, Icon, Siemens Healthcare and Syneos Health.
