Medical devices and biomaterials firm AorTech International announced the resignation of Roy Mitchell from the board.

The move was effective from 1 June.

Mitchell joined the company’s board in May 2013. He will “pursue a number of private projects” after handing in his notice.

In a statement on the London Stock Exchange, AorTech said: “The board wishes to thank Roy for his major contribution over the past two years and wish him well in his future activities.”
