John Gilligan is leaving BDO after 10 years as partner in the corporate finance team there to pursue further work in academia.

Gilligan will continue his work as a non-executive director at the Big Issue’s Social Investment Fund and write the fourth edition of Private Equity Demystified with Professor Mike Wright at Imperial College, London.  

“Thanks to all those who have worked with and my teams and helped, encouraged, followed, played fair and had fun over the years,” said Gilligan in an email announcing his move.
