Law firm Bevan Brittan has appointment Oonagh Sharma as a partner in its employment, pensions and immigration team, focused on advice and support to public and private sector healthcare organisations on all HR and workforce matters, including data protection issues.
Based in Bevan Brittan’s London office, she will work with independent health and NHS clients nationwide.
Sharma joins from Capsticks and has experience of representing private and public health and care clients at employment tribunals, advising on the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters including whistleblowing, change management, disciplinary and grievance issues.
Sharma said: “The reputation of Bevan Brittan’s employment team, and independent health and NHS practices, is outstanding. This was a natural move for me to progress my career. Health and care organisations in the private and public sector face many employment law challenges and I look forward to working with clients across the country to help them navigate these issues.”
