Blake Morgan has appointed Gayle Curry and Clare Strickland as partners at the firm.

The law firm was formed after the merger of Blake Lapthorn and Morgan Cole last year.

Curry was partner and owner of Morgan Cole from September 1991 until October 2013. She rejoins the merged firm following a year as partner at Mills & Reeve.

Strickland joins Blake Morgan from the National Midwifery Council, where she was assistant director for legal services for four years until December 2014.

From October 1995 until September 2004, Strickland was a self-employed barrister specialising in crime, licensing and financial regulation.
