Bloomcare: Sophie Gardiner
Bloomcare, which provides care for those living with Alzheimer’s and mental health issues, has promoted Sophie Gardiner to the newly created position of director of care, quality and compliance, to oversee its portfolio of 11 homes across the Northwest of England, Laing Buisson has reported.
Gardiner is tasked with driving consistency across the company’s brand and upskilling team members to maintain best practice and compliance.
Gardiner joined the company as operations manager last June and has 24 years’ experience in the healthcare industry.
Bloomcare’s chief executive Llewellyn Ramos said: “We identified a shortage of resources at senior level so created the role to facilitate our ambitious growth plans. Sophie was an ideal candidate and we are always delighted to promote internally.”
Gardiner added: “Our residents deserve the highest-quality care and we want to support them through their journey.”
