Real estateCambian Group: Anne Marie Carrie
Cambian Group’s children’s services chief executive Anne Marie Carrie has been made chief operating officer of the company following the disposal of its adult services.
Carrie has also been made an executive director the London-listed specialist care provider.
Prior to joining Cambian in 2015, Carrie held a number of senior management posts including chief executive of Barnado’s.
Earlier this month Cambian Group announced that Cygnet Health Care had agreed to acquire its adult services division for £377 million, making its focus solely children’s services.
The move followed a turbulent time for Cambian. A forecast in October last year that ebitda for 2015 would not meet expectations and be around the £49 million mark caused Cambian’s share price to halve. Meanwhile, a revised prediction of £46 million in February 2016 caused it to halve again. In the end the company reported an ebitda of £42.5 million.
