Cambian has announced the appointment of Anoop Kang as chief financial officer (CFO).

Kang will join the company, which provides specialist education and behavioural health services for children, in July 2017. Martin Hopcroft will continue as CFO in the meantime.

Kang joins from Kier Group where he has been group financial controller since 2015. Prior to this he held a number of senior finance positions at Balfour Beatty.

Cambian chief executive Saleem Asaria commented: "Following the sale of the adult business, Cambian has a robust balance sheet which provides the platform for the next stage of our development as a focussed children's business.

“I am delighted that Anoop is joining Cambian. He brings significant financial experience to the group and I look forward to working with him."
