Capita Healthcare Decisions has appointed Kevin McDonnell as analytics and benchmarking business director.

McDonnell brings over 20 years of experience within the technology sector across the UK, Europe, US and Asia Pacific, including over a decade specifically within healthcare technology and service provision.

He previously held the roles of managing director for EMIS Care, part of the EMIS Group, managing director for EMIS Health Specialist and managing director for Digital Healthcare.  

At Capita, McDonnell will have responsibility for the analytics and benchmarking businesses, which are part of Capita’s CHKS division, and will develop product strategy to meet the ongoing and future needs of the healthcare sector.

McDonnell said: “This is an exciting time of growth for our CHKS team, especially as providers, organisations and potential customers are increasingly focused on using analytics and benchmarking to provide strong evidence to highlight ongoing success and demonstrate value for money.
