Law firm Capsticks has appointed Hugh Giles as a partner, starting 2 January.
Giles joins from the Metropolitan Police Service, where he was director of legal services and served on the management board. Prior to that, he was head of litigation at the Treasury Solicitor’s Department (now called the Government Legal Department) where he was involved in a number of high-profile public law cases.
At Capsticks, Giles will work across sectors, with a particular focus on developing the firm’s expanding emergency services practice.
