PharmaCare Quality Commission: Tyson Hepple
The Care Quality Commission has appointed Tyson Hepple, director general at the Home Office, to the new role of executive director of operation., Hepple is expected to take up his new role in early August.
Hepple is a senior civil servant with more than 30 years’ experience at the Home Office in a broad variety of operational roles.
The Care Quality Commission’s chief executive Ian Trenholm said: “We have recently launched an ambitious new strategy and Tyson’s experience will be absolutely invaluable in helping us roll it out. The role of executive director of operations is an important addition to our executive team and critical to the implementation of our strategic plans. I look forward to working with Tyson so that we can continue to deliver our purpose in a rapidly changing health and care sector.”
Hepple added: “I am thrilled to be joining the Care Quality Commission at such an important time for both the CQC and the wider health and care sector. The launch of CQC’s new strategy is a unique opportunity to drive positive change and enhance the vital work already being done here to improve the quality of health and social care services.”
