Scotland-based care comparison and matching website Care Sourcer has appointed former Skyscanner chief operating officer Mark Logan to its board as a non-executive director and advisor.

The appointment accompanies a new £8.5 million round of investment in the firm, which connects people who need care with the providers who could help. Legal & General (L&G) Retirement Retail invested in £6 million, while ADV, who had previously invested during Care Sourcer’s seed round, provided a further £2.5 million investment.

Prior to joining Skyscanner, Logan worked at Cisco.
