Collagen components developer Collagen Solutions has appointed its former chief business officer Jamal Rushdy as chief executive.
Rushdy, who joined the firm in November 2015 in his previous role, will replace Stewart White in the chief executive position. White is to remain with the company, moving to the role of chief scientific officer.
Collagen Solutions also announced that revenue for the year to 31 March 2016 was around £3.2 million, ahead of its guidance figure of £2.8 million. The company will release full results for the year “in the coming weeks”.
Collagen Solutions chairman David Evans said: “Jamal’s experience in global medical technology organisations, and his contribution and recent track record with our company, gives us confidence that he will continue the momentum and execution of our strategic initiatives.”
