Real estateConcepta: Neil Mesher
Concepta, the mobile health company focussed on women’s fertility, has appointed Neil Mesher as a non-executive director, effective immediately.
The move will bolster Concepta’s commercial healthcare credentials ahead of the launch of its myLotus fertility product in China in 2017 and later in Europe, the company said.
Mesher has more than 25 years’ experience within the healthcare and consumer electronics industries. He joins from Philips, where he is the chief executive for the UK and Ireland. He is also on the board of the Association of British Healthcare Industries and is a member of the government’s Life Science Industrial Strategy Board.
Erik Henau, chief executive of Concepta, said: "I am delighted to welcome Neil to the board as a non-executive director. His experience and insight within the healthcare industry and consumer electronics in particular will complement our existing expertise in diagnostics and will also supplement our efforts to diversify our offering to improve users' ability to manage a range of conditions beyond our current core fertility business."
Concepta also announced that Neil Herbert has stepped down from his position as non-executive director, and thanked him for his service.
