Real estateCushman & Wakefield: David Kerr
Real estate services consultancy Cushman & Wakefield has appointed David Kerr as a partner on its London markets team.
Kerr (pictured), a healthcare property specialist, established his own independent consultancy in 2005 – David Kerr Associates Healthcare Property. Within this, he advised medical operators, landlords and developers on development and acquisition, and the leasing and letting of healthcare facilities.
In his new role, Kerr will work closely with Cushman & Wakefield’s healthcare advisory team, led by Martin Robb. Kerr’s addition brings with it new clients for the group, including acting as healthcare property agents for the Howard de Walden Estate, the Calthorpe Estate and Battersea Power Station, as well as advisors to private operators and the private divisions of various NHS Trusts including the Royal Brompton and Harefield Trust.
Kerr said that he had been impressed by the firm’s recent arrival in the central London private healthcare market, advising and executing on the development of the Cleveland Clinic Hospital. He added: “I am confident that this presence will continue to expand successfully over the next few years and am naturally delighted to be entrusted with driving that forwards in close cooperation with Martin Robb and his team.”
