Danshell Healthcare Group has appointed Dr Jane McCarthy as its new medical director.

McCarthy has more than 20 years’ of experience as a consultant psychiatrist working with people with learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorders, across a number of care providers, including community, in-patient and secure services.

McCarthy said: “To join the Danshell team as the medical director is a very exciting opportunity for me. This is a key role in a forward thinking organisation providing excellent care and support for people with learning disabilities and autism.
