Eden Futures, which provides specialist care and support across the UK, has appointed Helen Stokes – former managing director for specialist services of CareTech – as its new chief executive to lead the group’s strategic vision.
Stokes succeeds Dawn Berry who is stepping down after nearly seven years with Eden Futures.
She has more than 25 years of experience working in various healthcare settings, ranging from mental healthcare, neurological rehabilitation, and specialist care, working for not-profit and for-profit providers.
Eden Futures supports adults who are autistic, have learning disabilities, mental illnesses, and high support needs across northern England and the Midlands. It provides care and support to 650 people living independently in housing association properties which are commissioned by local authorities. This includes shared houses, sole apartments, and specialist bungalows and involves on-site support where staff is available 24 hours a day.
