Eden Futures: Stephen Collier

Eden Futures, the supported living service provider, has appointed Stephen Collier as non-executive chairman.

Collier (pictured) has over 25 years of experience within finance, investment and public services, as well as working with regulators and governments. He previously served as chief executive of BMI Healthcare, and has been chair or director on the boards of a number of leading health organisations, including the NHS Partners Network.

Collier said: “The opportunity to lead the board of Eden Futures and help shape the future of this group is an exciting prospect. The supported living sector has shown great resilience over the past few years of austerity, and remains a growing market in which Eden Futures is well positioned to continue its impressive growth.”

Chief executive at Eden Futures Andrew Lennox commented: “Stephen’s wealth of experience will be an invaluable support to the team as Eden Futures continues with its investment and development programme.”

Sovereign Capital-backed Eden Futures was set up in 1994 to develop long-term care, support and housing solutions for people with a learning disability who had been discharged from long stay-campus provisions. Today it supports over 750 people and has nearly 2,000 employees.
