Elysium Healthcare: Nick Alderman

Elysium Healthcare has appointed Professor Nick Alderman as clinical director of neurobehavioural rehabilitation services.

Alderman (pictured), who has experience in both clinical and academic psychology, was formerly clinical director at Priory Healthcare. He has also held senior posts at the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust and the National Brain Injury Centre (Kemsley Unit) and St Andrew’s Hospital in Northampton.

He is a visiting professor at the University of the West of England and an honorary professor at Swansea University.

Alderman commented: “I’m thrilled to be coming on board with Elysium Neurological, a company which has huge ambitions to be the UK’s leading provider of transformational neurological services.

“I will ensure the group is working at the leading edge of neurobehavioural practices to deliver the highest quality outcomes for our patients and residents.”

Elysium Healthcare chief executive Joy Chamberlain said: “Professor Alderman is one of the leading psychologists in the country developing neurobehavioural treatment methods and outcome measures and will complement our ever expanding team of dedicated clinicians who already provide an interdisciplinary treatment pathway.”
