Cambridge Cognition, which provides cognitive assessment software for clinical trials, academic research and healthcare, has appointed Jonathan Kempster as an independent non-executive director.

Cheshire-based EMS Healthcare, a provider of medical and clinical research facilities, has appointed Dr Clare Grace as chief executive.
Grace has more than 25 years’ experience in clinical research and development, with experience leading large global teams in the pharmaceutical industry and of developing new service provision in areas requiring patient and site engagement. She was previously chief patient officer at Parexel International, and prior to that held a series of senior leadership positions at Syneos Health, INC Research, PPD, AstraZeneca and Antisoma.
EMS Healthcare’s founder Keith Austin said: “As our business continues to rapidly evolve, [Grace’s] strategic and operational experience in all phases of clinical development, including patient engagement and clinical trial diversity, aligns with our ambitions to put innovation and patients at the core of our organisation.”
