The Envivo Group, which provides specialist care and support across England and Wales, has appointed Tim Davies – former managing director of Assura Pharmacy – as its new chief executive to lead the group’s strategic vision.

Tim Davies has over 25 years’ experience leading large organisations in the healthcare sector. A qualified pharmacist, he is the former managing director of Co-op Health and was previously the chief operating officer at Well Pharmacy.

Envivo, which has 4,000 employees across the group, encompasses TLC Care and Support, Heathcotes, Fieldbay including CPI and Crusader Care, New Directions and Vision Mental Health.

Davies said: “I’m delighted to be joining an outstanding organisation that is dedicated to redefining care and support to enhance people’s lives. I’m really excited about getting out into our nursing, residential care and supported living environments and spending time with the individuals we support, along with our amazing team members.

“I’m looking forward to building on the excellent culture and industry-leading quality that I’ve already seen and ensuring every day is an extraordinary experience for those we support and our colleagues.”

Paul Marriner, Envivo Group chairman, added: “From the moment we met Tim we could see he fully lives and embraces our vision and values and we are thrilled that he has joined the group and the sector-leading organisation that we continue to build. He is committed to ensuring we continue to provide exceptional person-centred care and support every single day.”

Former chief executive Paul Hainsworth has stepped back to focus on personal matters outside of the group.

Paul Marriner added: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Paul for his hard work, commitment and dedication, in helping to build the Envivo Group. We wish him every success and happiness for the future.”

Carter Schwartz’s managing director Adam Carter advised on the appointment.
