Real estateEssentia: Tas Hind
Healthcare consultancy Essentia Trading has appointed Tas Hind as technology director.
In the role, Hind (pictured) will develop and lead a new IT practice at the consultancy.
She joins from Ideal Healthcare Consultants where she was an information management and technology transformation and strategy consultant, developing new business and propositions across sustainability transformation plans, global digital exemplars, fast followers, and local digital roadmaps.
She previously spent more than 20 years at Computer Sciences Corporation, where she rose to become consulting practice lead, specialising in healthcare. While at CSC, she delivered numerous initiatives under the NHS national programme for IT.
Hind commented: “All parts of health and care organisations are under significant pressure to deliver services efficiently without compromising the quality of patient care.
“By integrating technology and healthcare planning and where possible finding ways of challenging the status quo, we can make a real difference to the way that they operate, make significant savings, whilst improving efficiency and build a sustainable and secure healthcare system for the future.”
