Dr Mark Jackson has joined the board of Agilitas-owned Exemplar Healthcare as chairman.

A qualified GP, Jackson has served on the boards of several notable companies in the health and social care space, including as deputy chairman of Allied Healthcare.

Agilitas managing partner Martin Calderbank said: “Mark Jackson brings a wealth of expertise to Exemplar which will further strengthen the leadership team.”

Exemplar managing director Euan Craig added: “Dr Mark Jackson’s clinical background and considerable business and health sector experience will be of great value to Exemplar, and his appointment will strengthen our senior leadership team as we prepare for a period of significant expansion.”
