John Whitehead has taken up the position of chief financial officer at Exemplar Healthcare, which specialises in nurse-led care for adults with disabilities.

Whitehead has joined the Agilitas-owned business from Allied Healthcare where he was interim managing director.

Previous career appointments include the post of chief financial advisor of global services at BT and group services advisor for Siemens Business Services in the UK and Ireland.
