Florence Nightingale Hospitals managing director Martin Thomas has moved into a non-executive director role at the private healthcare provider.
He is replaced by JJ O’Connor, who is now hospital director while also retaining his prior position of CQC registered manager. Scott Grey has also been promoted from commercial finance manager to deputy hospital director, with overall responsibility for non-clinical services.
Under Thomas’ leadership, Florence Nightingale Hospitals has been bought by Groupe Sinoué, seen private patient revenue increase from 20% to 100% of total income and launched the UK’s first technology addiction service among other highlights.
Thomas said: “It has been an enriching experience working with such a skilled, diligent and impressive team at the hospital. Over the past nine years I have seen the hospital, and everyone involved, continually strive to improve the available services, to ensure the highest quality care is provided. I’m sure that JJ O’Connor will lead Nightingale from strength to strength in the coming years.”
