Florence: Ross Burton
Florence, the London-based tech startup that connects vacant care home shifts to local nurses and carers, has appointed Ross Burton as NHS managing director, as the company extends its shift-filling technology to the NHS.
Ross Burton has a background in healthcare within the NHS and a career in recruitment at Newcross Healthcare and Enferm Medical.
Burton said: “The transparency, cost savings, and the innovative approach Florence brings to staffing are game-changers for NHS trusts and healthcare professionals. It’s about more than just filling vacancies; it’s about understanding and genuinely supporting the NHS to deliver exceptional care.”
Florences’s chief executive former NHS doctor Charles Armitage said: “Our vision for Florence was always about making a real difference, delivering care more efficiently, quickly, and cost-effectively. With Ross on board and exciting prospects for growth we’re eager to explore how we can further contribute to the well-being and success of the NHS.”
