John Ransford will become a non-executive director, Richard Jones will be a special advisor on health and social care interface, while Bruce McLernon joins as a special advisor (Wales).

All three will “work closely” with head of the Quality and Safeguarding Board and former Adult Social Services (ADASS) president Bob Lewis.

HC-One chairman and acting chief executive Dr Chai Patel welcomed the new appointees, saying: “All three bring a wealth of experience and expertise to HC-One that will be invaluable as we strive to continue to provide the kindest possible care and make a real difference to the lives of older people in the UK.”
