Janene Madden will be taking up the post of chief executive of HCA International’s London Bridge Hospital with effect from 1 January 2017.
Madden (pictured) moves into the role from within the private hospital group, having held the post of chief executive of The Portland Hospital for the last seven years.
While at The Portland Hospital, Madden oversaw plans to double the size of the children’s facility at the specialist women’s and children’s hospital. HCA International was granted planning permission for a £20 million expansion in February 2015.

Throughout her tenure at The Portland Hospital she has been completely focused on ensuring the delivery of the absolute best in patient care and I know she will continue with this focus at the London Bridge Hospital.”
