HCA International: Janene Madden

Janene Madden will be taking up the post of chief executive of HCA International’s London Bridge Hospital with effect from 1 January 2017.

Madden (pictured) moves into the role from within the private hospital group, having held the post of chief executive of The Portland Hospital for the last seven years.

While at The Portland Hospital, Madden oversaw plans to double the size of the children’s facility at the specialist women’s and children’s hospital. HCA International was granted planning permission for a £20 million expansion in February 2015.

Mike Neeb, chief executive of HCA International, said:  “I am delighted to announce the appointment of Janene Madden as the Chief Executive of the London Bridge Hospital. Throughout her tenure at The Portland Hospital she has been completely focused on ensuring the delivery of the absolute best in patient care and I know she will continue with this focus at the London Bridge Hospital.”

“In the interim Andrew Gore has being doing an excellent job in leading the facility and I would like to thank him for his work and support.”
