HCML: Pauline Cunningham

Pauline Cunningham

Croydon-based rehabilitation and care management provider HCML has appointed Pauline Cunningham as head of HR.

Cunningham has more than 25 years of HR experience and previously set up the HR department for investment management company River and Mercantile. During the eight years she worked for the company, she implemented the recruitment, performance management, HR, and payroll system, and designed policies and procedures for global roll out. Prior to that, Cunningham spent 12 years at Morgan Stanley and three at Linklaters.

HCML’s chief executive Nick Delaney said: “Pauline is passionate about people and their wellbeing, and is skilled in driving transformation. She is motivated to provide the best employee experience by encouraging open communication, opportunities to share ideas for positive change and listening and responding to the needs of employees and the business. It’s these attributes, coupled with her strategic approach, which make her the right HR leader to enable HCML’s next stage of business growth and expansion.”

Cunningham commented: “HCML is very quickly becoming a powerful leader in the healthcare sector. With the opportunities coming our way, having the right people in place and embedding a culture of openness and understanding will be absolutely key. I’m thrilled to be joining the company to help lead this programme.”
