Bryan Higgins, a former healthcare director at national advisory firm Grant Thornton, has established a new healthcare consultancy.

Based in London, HeadWindsCare will specialise in private healthcare, in particular providing support around recovery, restructuring, performance and commercial.

Higgins (pictured) has over 26 years of experience in the sector, and departed from Grant Thornton in May this year after 17 years at the company. He is also chair of Glebe House, a learning disability charity based in Loughborough.

He commented: “This is an exciting business opportunity that utilises my sector experience gained over 26 years in advisory, lending and consultancy. 

“I have been at the ‘business end’ of healthcare for virtually [all] of that time and worked through most financial, management and operational issues in all client groups.  That includes the highest profile sector clients.”
