Real estateHealthcare Homes: Matt King
Residential and domiciliary care specialist Healthcare Homes has appointed Matt King to its board of directors.
King (pictured) first joined Healthcare Homes in 2008 as group accountant. He was heavily involved in the company’s refinancing programme in 2015 and became group finance director in April this year.
A chartered accountant by profession, King’s previous roles include four years within business advisory at PKF, where he spent a year focused on corporate finance, primarily M&A activity.
He now joins Healthcare Homes’ chairman Philip George, group chief executive Gordon Cochrane, and founding directors David Bates and Graham Lomer on the holdings board.
Cochrane commented: “Matt shows great enthusiasm in supporting the growth of the group whilst at the same time keeping a firm hand on our finances and ensuring investment in our current portfolio continues. He has shown great integrity, loyalty and commitment since joining the group and I am delighted that he has agreed a position on the board of directors.”
