Hesira Group, a pan-European dental clinics operator, has appointed Christophe Bornand as chief executive of Adent Cliniques Dentaires, its Swiss business.

Bornand joins Adent from Galenica Group where he is head of Amavita, Switzerland’s largest retail pharmacy chain. He will take up his new post on 1 October 2015.

Malcolm Hughes, chairman of Hesira, said that he was “delighted to have recruited” Bornand and that he would bring “directly relevant experience of building a market-leading retail healthcare business”.
