Healthcare charity Horder Healthcare has appointed Richard Bentley as operations director.

Bentley will be responsible for the charity's operations in Sussex and Kent. This includes orthopaedic hospital The Horder Centre in Crowborough and East Grinstead-based plastic surgery hospital The McIndoe Centre. He will also oversee operations in outreach clinics based in Tunbridge Wells, Eastbourne and Seaford.

He joins from charity Nuffield Health where he led a team of 250 at its Brentwood hospital. Former roles include being head of business services for Compass Group and managing director of Kalamazoo Secure Solutions.
